Việc giáo dục trẻ trong độ tuổi thiếu niên biết cách dọn dẹp và thu xếp nhà cửa gọn gàng, ngăn nắp là một vấn đề lớn đối với hầu hết các bậc phụ huynh. Với chương trình chơi mà học như Tidy Up, mọi việc sẽ khả quan hơn vì ngoài học cách biết dọn dẹp nhà cửa ra sao, trẻ đồng thời sẽ được làm quen với máy tính từ những thao tác tập click chuột đơn giản nhất.
Để sử dụng, tại giao diện làm việc chính của chương trình bạn hãy click vào tuỳ chọn Start A New Game rồi nhập tên trẻ vào, sau đó chọn cho trẻ một căn phòng ưng ý để bắt đầu cho việc tập các thao tác dọn dẹp nhà cửa ra sao. Tuy nhiên bạn nên bắt đầu từ phòng Hall (đại sảnh) vì khi dọn dẹp xong căn phòng này chương trình sẽ tự động đưa trẻ tuần tự theo các phòng trong căn nhà.
Nhiệm vụ trong mỗi căn phòng đề ra là trong mỗi căn phòng đều có một số lượng đồ vật cố định cần được trẻ thu dọn sao cho thật ngăn nắp, tại đây trẻ sẽ được học cách quan sát đồ vật và tìm ra được các món đồ nào cần trở về đúng vị trí của nó. Khi trẻ thấy được món đồ nào cần được dọn dẹp, hãy yêu cầu trẻ bấm di chuyển chuột và click vào đúng món đồ cần thu xếp đó (các món đồ khi này sẽ tự động được sắp xếp và trở lại đúng vị trí ban đầu của nó và ngay lúc này trẻ sẽ được học cách thu dọn món đồ đã chọn ấy ra sao).
Càng về các phòng sau, việc dọn dẹp nhà cửa sẽ phải được thực hiện nhiều bước hơn tuy nhiên mọi thao tác đều được thực hiện theo các cú click chuột chính xác của trẻ, và khi hoàn tất được công việc dọn dẹp nhà cửa xong trẻ sẽ được phần thưởng xứng đáng, đồng thời cũng giúp trẻ nhận thức được công việc của trẻ khi này “quan trọng” ra sao.
Với hệ thống âm thanh lẫn hình ảnh minh họa phù hợp với các bé lứa tuổi nhỏ và được đánh giá là một chương trình giáo dục tốt. Chương trình Tidy Up hiện có phiên bản 1.1 với dung lượng 790KB tương thích tốt trên các hệ điều hành Windows 9x/Me/2000/Xp

Tidy Up! offers a full-size preview of the most commonly used files such as: audio, media, text, pdf, graphics, fonts and more... and Quick Look like in the Finder (only from OS X 10.5).
One of the most interesting features of Tidy Up! is the capability to separate, for quick and easy organization, found items using custom criteria via "Smart Baskets." It also includes the possibility to choose, from the items belonging to the supported applications, a specific album , playlist or mailbox*.
Tidy Up! allows you to trash, move, replace the moved and trashed items with aliases or simbolic links*, burn, assign colored Finder labels and export into html and text files all found items.
Tidy Up! is fully customizable and allows you to create your preferred workspace.
